Meet New Employees

Valencia Anderson, Communication Specialist, Call Center

Valencia Anderson loves her new job and is happy to be a part of the team!

Valencia joined the Emory family in July 2011. She has 17 years of call center experience, the last 15 with IBM. Her IBM experience includes five years of level-1 technical support, and eight years as a Team Lead. "Multitasking" became Valencia's middle name when she simultaneously was the Team Lead of three teams with three different missions/objectives.

Valencia earned numerous Thanks Awards and Employee of the Quarter at IBM. Her most valued award was the BestFest, IBM's top customer service award.

Valencia graduated from Illinois State University. She is married with a beautiful son, Malik. She enjoys watching football (Go Steelers) and hanging out with her family and close friends.

Lee Clontz, Multimedia Developer, Academic Technology Services

Everyone keeps saying, "We'll miss you, Lee." But it's not like he's leaving UTS!

As of December 1, Lee Clontz has moved from the Integration team to the Faculty Services group within Academic Technology Services. Lee started in ATS (formerly ATG) back in 2000 and moved to the Web group several years ago to help round out his technical skills.

During the Next Wave reorg, Lee was tasked with managing the implementation of the Cascade content management system and the Google Search services, which have occupied him for the last three years. Moving back into a more faculty-facing position, Lee will be working on projects such as WordPress and Omeka POCs as well as Holocaust Denial on Trial and GoingOn. Lee will continue to teach as an after-hours adjunct within Emory College's journalism program, as he has for the past ten years.

Jason Cook, Desktop Supervisor, Enterprise Services

Congrats to Jason on his promotion!

Jason Cook has been promoted to the position of Desktop Supervisor, effective November 1st. This position will have a primary focus on the day-to-day operations of Desktop Support, including ticket queue management, escalations, reporting and ServiceNow enhancements.

With over 16 years at Emory, Jason has an excellent track record of consistent customer satisfaction and helped create a very stable environment of over 400 computers in Campus Services.

Melody Holschbach, Communication Specialist, Call Center

Melody is so glad to be back at Emory!

Melody is happily returning to the UTS Call Center after a brief hiatus. Originally from California, Melody served 15 years active duty in the United States Army. She was stationed in Texas, Kansas, Alabama, Germany and Kuwait and worked in finance. She returned to the call center in September.

Melody has two grandchildren, Desirae and Deshaun. She enjoys making blankets for people, which is nice because it is starting to get cold around here!

Pharrah Jackson, Communication Specialist, Call Center

Pharrah wants to know what makes her customers tick.

Pharrah Jackson was born in Atlanta and raised in Decatur. She started working at Emory in January 2011. Prior to coming to the Call Center, Pharrah worked for a call center at Comcast.

She attended Georgia Southern University where she studied Psychology, which comes in handy when dealing with the complex emotions of her customers!

Pharrah and her husband Robert have been married for four years this February 24. Together, they raise their 3-year-old son, Blake. Some of her hobbies include photography, fashion and arts, acting, and writing. She plans to eventually pursue a career in psychology with a focus on children.

Bridgette Morris, PeopleSoft Analyst/Developer, Enterprise Applications

Bridgette is ready for another LSU championship!

Prior to coming to Emory, Bridgette served as Lead Peoplesoft Implementation Specialist with Accenture, in Washington, DC. With 12+ years providing systems analysis and technical support of HRMS and Financials/SCM modules, Bridgette brings a wealth of technical experience to OIT.

A Louisiana native and Georgia resident for over 20 years, Bridgette began her academic career at Louisiana State University (GEAUX Tigers), then graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems.

Bridgette is a married mother of three and enjoys cooking, running, entertaining, traveling, and football...she's attending the SEC Championship at the Georgia Dome this weekend...can you guess what team she'll be supporting?

Elijah Pasha, Manager PeopleSoft Systems, Enterprise Applications

Elijah Pasha brings a positive attitude to Emory!

Prior to joining Emory, Elijah Pasha spent most of his career working as a Management Consultant, which began with an internship at Ernst and Young. His most recent position was with Deloitte Consulting. He has traveled the U.S. advising client executives and leaders on how to implement and maintain large-scale Accounting, HR, Payroll and Reporting Analysis software packages.

Elijah is a graduate of the Georgia Tech School of Electrical Engineering and Alabama A&M University. He embraces continual education and most recently achieved the status of Certified Project Management Professional as defined by the Project Management Institute.

A loving father and husband, Elijah has a large group of siblings that includes two Management Consultants, a Medical Doctor (Emory grad), a Georgia Tech Hall of Fame Track Athlete/Investment Banker, a Grand Master Martial Arts Instructor and various entrepreneurs. Elijah enjoys exercising, basketball and spending quality time with the family.
